The Favorite U1 PE is a 4-strand braided line designed to deliver strong tensile performance, with an emphasis on reliability and durability. It is made in Japan in a YGK factory from a Japanese high-molecular-weight polyethylene called IZANAS (formerly Dyneema).
Material and construction
The U1 PE is made with H-grade PE, said to promote a soft braid while providing high abrasion resistance. The overall design is intended for use in a wide range of fishing conditions.
Integrated treatments and technologies
An impregnation treatment is applied to make the surface smoother and more slippery, while reducing water absorption. This smoother finish also lowers friction through the guides, which can help increase casting distance.
High-Straight technology is listed to improve strength under load and overall durability. CRT (Color Resistance Technology) is designed to provide better color resistance against UV rays and other adverse factors.
Manufacturing
The U1 braid is presented as a Favorite-exclusive project, fully manufactured and spooled on YGK equipment in Japan.

The Favorite X1 PE 4X braid is designed for lure fishing in freshwater and saltwater. Its high-density 4-strand PE construction is designed to deliver a strong balance of strength, sensitivity, and lure control.
