Product highlights
The CWC Buster Jerk Baby is a jerkbait lure for pike and perch designed for modern predator fishing. Compact and highly responsive, it allows you to cover large areas quickly while remaining precise in placement. Its irregular action, made up of pronounced lateral darts, glides and controlled pauses, triggers strikes from both active fish and wary individuals.
Thanks to its carefully calculated balance, this hard predator lure remains stable when casting and retrieving. It easily tolerates the dry-style animations typical of jerkbaiting, while still being simple to use for an angler who is just starting out. No complex technique is required: a cast-and-retrieve with a few jerks is enough to make it extremely attractive.
Designed by specialist brand CWC, this model benefits from a refined finish and a robust construction engineered to withstand the sharp teeth of predators. Whether you fish from the bank or a boat, the Buster Jerk Baby fits easily into a lure box dedicated to fast and effective prospecting.

Advantages and key strengths
The main asset of the Buster Jerk Baby CWC is its versatility. It attracts both pike and perch and is suitable for many bodies of water: slow rivers, canals, large lakes, gravel pits or shallow bays. The same pike jerkbait thus allows you to cover a multitude of spots without constantly changing your setup.
Its ease of use is another decisive advantage. It requires no special equipment: a simple lure rod and a reel suited to predator fishing are enough to put it into action. Beginner anglers will appreciate a jerkbait that handles easily, while experienced enthusiasts can refine their animations to get the most out of its potential.
Finally, its ability to support varied cadences makes it a great prospecting tool. You can alternate slow retrieves, faster twitching and marked pauses to provoke reflex strikes. This hard predator lure is therefore as effective for scouting as it is for focusing on a specific spot holding a large pike.
Usage advice
To get the most out of the Buster Jerk Baby jerkbait, start with a simple cast-and-retrieve. After casting, let it stabilize, then retrieve at a steady pace while imparting light rod twitches. These small jerks create lateral darts and rhythm changes that are highly triggering.
Don't hesitate to add pauses from time to time, especially when approaching interesting structure such as weedbeds, submerged trees or drop-offs. Many strikes occur when the lure seems almost motionless. By adapting retrieval speed to the season and fish activity, you'll make this predator fishing lure a formidable ally all year round.
The Buster Jerk Baby can be used with both casting rods and spinning rods dedicated to lures. Choose braid or monofilament suitable for the target fish size and don't forget to add an abrasion-resistant leader to cope with pike teeth. Thanks to its design, the lure remains fully effective without complicated adjustments, making it a smart choice to build or complete a selection of jerkbaits.
