The Yamashita Oppai Sutte UV 5-1 squid jigs are specifically designed for squid and cuttlefish fishing in saltwater. Their main feature is their soft, elastic body, which encourages cephalopods to hold onto the lure longer after striking. These soft squid lures can be rigged in various ways:

• above a sinker or a weighted squid jig
• rigged directly at end of line or on a dropper loop

The UV 5-1 P2 Pink Body version features a base material beneath the fabric that reflects ultraviolet rays. Invisible to the human eye, these UV rays strongly attract cephalopods, which are highly sensitive to UV.
