The Favorite U1 Casting is a series of casting-only rods designed for powerful predator fishing, with a strong focus on reliability, blank responsiveness, and hook-setting power. It is built for demanding techniques where control and power reserve matter.
High-modulus carbon blank and Fast to Extra-Fast action
The blanks are made from high-modulus carbon and feature a Fast to Extra-Fast action. This profile is designed to deliver excellent feedback and a power reserve suited to forceful presentations.
Techniques covered by the range
The series covers uses such as weighted soft lures, heavy jigs, Texas rigs, spinnerbaits, and swimbaits. Depending on the model, the range is available in 2.13 m (7'0") and 2.18 m (7'2") lengths, as well as MH, H, and Extra Heavy power ratings, to suit the level of commitment required.
Handling and on-the-water versatility
The stated length range (2.13 m to 2.18 m) is presented as a compromise between precision, leverage, and maneuverability, suitable for both boat fishing and bank fishing. The rod is equipped with an EVA handle and an ergonomic reel seat.
Favorite X1 casting rod range designed around a Skyflex 30T carbon blank and a fast to extra-fast action depending on the model, for soft bait and jig fishing.
