The Favorite X1 Casting is a casting rod range from Favorite, designed for lure fishing, especially with soft baits and jigs. It is built around a Skyflex 30T carbon blank and KR concept guides, with an action ranging from fast to extra-fast depending on the model.
Skyflex 30T Blank: sensitivity and action
The X1 is based on a Skyflex 30T carbon blank from Korea, advertised as delivering excellent responsiveness. Depending on the model, the action is fast to extra-fast, making it well suited to dynamic presentations and powerful fishing techniques.
KR concept guides and line management
The guides are mounted using the KR concept, a setup said to improve casting accuracy and line control. The inserts are advertised as abrasion-resistant, a useful feature for regular lure fishing.
